Teacher David is from Liverpool in the UK. He completed his BA in English Language and Literature at the University of Birmingham and his post-graduate teaching qualification at the University of Warwick. David taught English at schools in London and became Head of Sixth Form there. He then became Head of English at a school in North West England, later becoming Deputy Head teacher. After gaining his leadership accreditation, David spent seven years as principal of two English secondary schools. At Manchester City Council, David was responsible for the city’s lifelong learning partnership, linking schools, universities and employers. At the age of 50, David moved to Kuwait as Vice Principal of a large international school in Kuwait before transferring to lead a new school in Bahrain. Since 2016, David has been Academic Director at Myanmar International School.
